![]() ![]() I lost 15 pounds in 6 months largely by preparing my own food (and exercising). I believe it's possible to enjoy what you eat and still be healthy. The big challenge is keeping the food tasty. I deconstruct every recipe I like, and try to make it with healthier ingredients. I'm also constantly working on healthier ways to prepare food. Sometimes, I don't get started with my prep work until 12:30 a.m. My wife is a teacher, so this can be very late at night during the summer. I don't want to give up on anything I love - my family, my job, my cooking - so I do most of my cooking after everyone has gone to bed. In other words, my available times for cooking are very limited. If I try to cook when my kids have their friends over, I'm certain to be interrupted. I also work long hours at Ford Motor Company, and I do want to spend time with my family every day. I have two teenagers who keep things very busy around our house during the daytime. Repeat procedure with remaining 1/2 teaspoon oil and 4 flatbreads. Add 4 flatbreads to pan cook for 2 minutes on each side or until crisp and golden. Heat 1/2 teaspoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.Repeat for remaining dough portions and onion mixture. Fold top and bottom sides together in the same way, wetting the dough if needed to get the flaps to stick. ![]() Fold left and right sides of dough together until they meet in the middle. Spoon 1 tablespoon onion mixture in center of dough. Flatten each portion until very thin and shape into a square. Start with one portion and cover remaining dough with a wet kitchen towel to prevent drying. ![]()
